Full Description: This former workmans cottage has been extensively renovated and is now available for let. The cottage can comfortably sleep 6 people with the option of a sofa bed located in the dining room allowing accommodation for an additional 2 people if required.

The country cottage overlooks pasture to the front and woodland to the rear that offers a home to a variety of wildlife including owls, pheasants, partridge and the occasional deer. In addition hens roam the farmyard and you are bound to meet our friendly dog Oscar. We grow a variety of crops from barley to Birds Eye peas.

Offering lovely views over the Yorkshire Wolds, Holme Wold Cottage is an ideal peaceful base for your holiday in East Yorkshire.

The setting and the roses around the door give a relaxing and rural feeling. A patio area with garden furniture leads to a large lawned area suitable for ball games or just relaxing with a book. The garden is surrounded by woods where, if you are quiet, you can observe the wildlife. There is parking for 3 cars to the side of the cottage. A large shed offers storage for bikes, walking boots and other equipment.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 king (one with a zip & link bed that can be converted into 2 2'6" singles) and 1 twin. The sofa bed in the dining room offers an additional double. The family bathroom is upstairs and there is a shower room downstairs. In addition to the well equiped kitchen there is a sitting room with freeview TV and a DVD player.

The property has access to wireless broadband as well as satalite TV. The steep front garden has a wild, uncultivated feel to encourage wildlife visitors. It’s thoughtfully equipped throughout. Bed linen and towels are supplied. There is an on-site laundry facility with coin-operated washing machines, tumble dryers and washing line. Included in the price is central heating and electricity. Guests also have free use of nearby pool and leisure complex and all our on-site entertainment facilities. Newbarn Farm has an outdoor play area to keep even the bounciest children happy! The facilities include an adult sized trampoline, swings and slide, a play field for cricket, badminton, volleyball and football, professional basketball ring, and a golf practice area. Just a short drive away, and free to guests, is a marvellous leisure complex with heated swimming pools, sauna, steam-room and gym.
